Good morning 2O4F and welcome to the unofficial race lobby report we have dubbed:

Now onto the racing action. We start off the report with Forza Motorsport 7:

C Maloo Series.jpg

The green flag has dropped on the weekly series hosted by Gizziegod. We have started off the FM7 series with an interesting but fun set of cars to drive. The racers are running either the HSV Maloo or the Ford UTE homologated to division. Race 1 kicked off at Maple Valley full. The field was mostly Maloos with exception to HLR King Cobra and Canned Canuck who would finish in that order in the Fords. Johnny Focus would chose the Maloo and would round off the podium for race 1. Race 2 action takes the racers to Homestead Infield circuit and begins today at 8pm GMT, 3pm EST. Good luck entries! If you want in on the action, head over to the official series/events thread and get your UTE or Maloo up to spec. Please also post your intent to run on the thread so they know to send you an invite.

Tuesday nights are home of the long running Super Normal Tuesdays. This is a great night of non points racing with some of the regular series drivers in the club. The racing starts in D class and if the racing stays clean, we move up a class to as far as we can go. Fun night for all and a great night of racing for newer members. See the official thread for more information.

Wednesday nights, Gizziegod hosts a track night very similar to Super Normal Tuesdays but this is a Euro event so please check the thread for the official time frame for racing action. It is another great opportunity to run with some really fast members and a great place to get to race with some of the regulars you will be battling with if you are planning to run one of Gizzies series.

D RCS Banner.jpg

Thursday night is the night of stock race cars and GrimGrinninGhosts’ series…RCS or Race Car Series. Season 1 hits the tarmac in the BMW 125i. Shakedowns and practice lobbies have been continuing between drivers freed up from career mode to get some laps in. Once again, please check the official series thread to get any details, track listings or post your livery for the rest to see. Once the season has started, the entry list is closed until the next season so if you have not posted your GT to let Grim know, get over to the thread to get in on the action.
Week 1 is scheduled to drop the flag at Maple Valley short and Mugello Club circuits and will begin on 10/26/2017 (this coming Thursday). Be sure to practice Mugello short, there are a lot of corners and the last section can catch you off guard if you forget which layout you are on. As of this posting it appears that with the amount of signed up drivers, we will be running 2 separate lobbies so be sure to have the hosts on your friends list to get into the right lobby. Also for those that may not have ventured into multiplayer, we are going to utilize the improved game chat during the races.

F JDM Series.jpg

Drivebye is back to throw a series into the mix. It is a non points event. The series will challenge you to buy and build a street racer in the JDM category (not a division) which means simply that you need to find a Japanese CAR that fits into the restrictions (see the official thread for rules) and get it out there to prove its prowess. Sounds easy right, not so fast. With minimal tuning and a pretty large field of cars that meet spec, this will be a weekly challenge to all entries. There is not an official launch date yet, as soon as it is announced we will post here in the report but you are advised to hit the thread and keep up to date as the series evolves and gets closer to launch. If any testers are running laps, get us some pics or share a replay so we can get the series some visuals!

E HLC Banner.jpg

And the final moments of the Forza portion of the report are always home to the 2Old4Hotlapping or the HLC series brought to you by Pryde300ZX, FV Lucky1, Triumphrid3r and Lord Sarverious.
Please check the thread to get the new scorer gamer tags added to your friends list so that your lap times can be recorded.
As you may already know, Turn10 changed the hotlapping system in 7 so please be patient while the HLC committee adjusts to the new system and gets it figured out. We also have a lot of new entries to the hot lapping series so if you dont see your time listed, let them know in the threads and make sure you have the scorers friended.
The current challenge is COTA West at night. HLR Stu currently leads the world with a Mazda Cosmo (had kind of hoped the homologation system would stop the cosmo to be hones) at 1.49 and some change. Tank is not far behind with his Honda S800 at 1.50 and some change. 2O4F currently owns the overall leaderboard and the hardcore leaderboard, keep putting those laps in! The challenge ends Tuesday night so you still have some time to get your best time on the boards.

Go to the official Hot Lap Challenge threads to see where you stand and to keep up with what the organizers throw at us next (new events are announced and start on Tuesday nights)

G Other Header.jpg

There is racing happening in several different platforms right now so if you want to get into something different, check the forums and threads under the titles name to see what is going on and when.

H PC Banner.jpg

Project Cars 2 is tested and primed to set the grid on Monday night for a series in the Ginetta GT5. There is a good group of drivers signed up and if this has become your game of choice then you will want to head over to the official thread to see the what , when and how.
There is also a time attack series being run and it has its own thread under the PC2 header so check that out as well. If any racers or testers get some pictures from the game play, please post them in the comments below and in the series threads so we can get you some eye candy in the report to boost your series……

J Dirt4 Banner.jpg

Dirt4 is continuing to run weekly challenges that end on Sundays. Head over to the official Dirt4 thread to see where and what is going on with this title. It may be a little slow right now as most of the main players are either on FM7 or Project cars 2 at this time but there are still some racers keeping the mud slung so post away in the thread and good luck on the stages!

And here we are again, at the end of the report. At this time, the staff would like to thank all the contributors, event organizers, livery creators, replay savers, spread sheet slammers, hot lappers, tuners, and everyone else who gets on the forums and gets involved.

See you on the track, have fun and good luck racers and lappers!
