Good morning 2O4F and welcome to the unofficial race lobby report we have dubbed:

Now onto the racing action. We start off the report with Forza Motorsport 7:

C Maloo Series.jpg

We begin the report with the weekly series hosted by Gizziegod. As the title says, it is Aussie Madness and features the Holden Maloo and Ford UTE (cant help hearing Joe Pesci’s voice every time I write that). It has been a series of interest as KC disappeared after the second race and many new entries have joined in, shaking up the points, and having some great battles. We head into the the final week tonight at Bathurst and man that should be interesting, cant wait for the replay on that one. It is also the night where Gizzie announces the next series. With such a good selection of cars, we shall await gizzies next plan. Back to the action. The replay from Mugello did not show liveries so it was difficult to keep track of who is who but the simple version is: The race would start out with a canadian front row as Parcells rolled out 1st with MasterBigChief rolling out 2nd. MBC would make quick work of Parcells and get out front early. JohnnyFocus would get his Ford into the mix early but would lose ground late and struggle to get back up front. Zeratul would start deep in the field and a starting line issue would hold him up for a few laps but once he got in the groove, it was all heading to the front. New to the series Brooky515 entered this race and put his Holden on the podium for 1st place with Zeratul working hard for his first championship in 7 only 3 seconds back and MasterBigChief all over his bumper at the checkers for 3rd.
As the checkers flew over Magello, Zeratul would find himself in a good position for the championship with a 32 point lead with Gizzie working his way into 2nd place. Woodstock UK has worked his way into 3rd in points only 7 points back from Gizzie. Bathurst today has a lot of positions at stake. Good luck and great race to all entries. Tune in next week or hit the thread to see what is going on in this series.

The next series will get announced shortly as well so keep your eyes on the official events threads to see what is next.

Tuesday nights are home of the long running Super Normal Tuesdays. This is a great night of non points racing with some of the regular series drivers in the club. The racing starts in D class and if the racing stays clean, we move up a class to as far as we can go. Belt races feature some unruly builds for some fun filled races. The belt races usually are geared to focus on driver ability to adapt to conditions and win a race under those severe conditions. Fun night for all and a great night of racing for newer members. See the official thread for more information.

Wednesday nights, Gizziegod hosts a track night very similar to Super Normal Tuesdays. This is a Euro event so please check the thread for the official time frame for racing action. It is another great opportunity to run with some really fast members and a great place to get to race with some of the regulars you will be battling with if you are planning to run one of Gizzies series.

Thursday night is the night of stock race cars and GrimGrinninGhosts’ series…RCS or Race Car Series. Season 1 hits the tarmac in the BMW 125i. Racing is now deep into the season and the racers have now logged week 3 into the history books. Week 3 featured the COTA west circuit and the sandy circuit of Dubai.

PRO Lobby: Attendance down to 9 entries for the Pro lobby (mostly due to the issues with Forza 7), the shortening field took to the track. Electric would be MIA for this night, COTA would surround itself in mystery as race infractions were reviewed and it has been determined that some of the infractions would have a direct effect on the finishes (go to the thread if you need the details, we dont like to slander anyone here on the report) With it all shook out, it appears to have put MasterBigChief on the victory spot for COTA with GrimGrnninGhost placing 2nd and Lucky1 getting 3rd. Onto Dubai and the sand and sights of this new to Forza track. It has allot of interesting characteristics and the racing would be good. Unfortunately, the replay system seems to only show the livery of the person who shared it so Sarverious is the only one recognizable. Not a bad thing as the Duracell livery is a very good piece of work but anyways…..MasterBigChief would tame the sands and take home the victory. Stu would not be far behind and take the 2nd spot on the podium with Lord Sarverious ending the night with a 3rd place podium. With infractions and penalties announced, the points will get reassessed so keep your eyes on the thread to see where things end up for the Pro division.

We could not locate a shared version of the ProAM races so we will cap the points heading into the final week: Fusion14 would take back to back victories this night, putting him in as a sure bet for the championship (and relegation up to Pro) he now stands 45 points ahead of the charging OldScotian. Scotian would struggle a little at COTA but would claim 2nd for the race at Dubai. Parcells would collect the 2nd place at COTA While Jimmythangzz would gather up the 3rd place at COTA. Fammehotrods would take the final podium of the night with a 3rd at Dubai. Though the points at the top of the ProAM ladder may be close to locked in, there is still some great points battles heading into the final week. 3rd place Bigdaddy is being chased down by jimmythangzz while Dbrown and Parcells find themselves tied with a possible podium finish available if either one can rally for the finally at VIR and Suzuka.

It appears that the forecast is for rain at VIR on Thursday, we will see how the final night turns out.

F JDM Series.jpg

Drivebizzle has been slinging track mustard for a couple weeks in his Ultimate JDM challenge. Last week was no exception as the racers hit the Watkins Glen and Long beach circuits (there was another race but we lost the info on this one) the series is into week 3 with week 4 and the final week of racing for this Sunday night at Bathurst and Nordschelife. Sounds meaty! Hang on to your buts and get out there! It was great to watch the replay at Watkins Glen in particular, Lucky1 and Federal Hercules had a great race in 2 generations of Mazdas (Both painted Red). Grim also showed off his S2000. Long Beach had some ups and downs (always does) but also had some great racing noteably, the race between Grims S2000 and Jay Waites Eclipse. Thanx for hosting this Drivebye, hopefully the next series is in the planning. Good luck and fun to all for the final night tonight.

In replacement of the Sunday series, Lord Sarverious is back into the series hosting spotlite as he has announced the next battle royale as the:

Yup, you read that. Go to the thread to sign up and see what car selections are and restrictions (the car choice is most important). Testing may be going on randomly as the series is a tune-able series. The racing is set to kick off next Sunday so get in there and get her tuned and painted.

And the final moments of the Forza portion of the report are always home to the 2Old 4Hotlapping or the HLC series brought to you by Pryde300ZX, FV Lucky1, Triumphrid3r and Lord Sarverious.
Please check the thread to get the new scorer gamer tags added to your friends list so that your lap times can be recorded.

Last week was a surprise week as we took to Maple Valley full in the sport touring division. Lucky1 posted an incredible tune that put most of the field running it into he top spots of the leaderboards. The car of choice was the Mustang 350GTR and what a rocket it was. Quentin found himself at the top of the leaderboards with a 1.37.112 with Lucky putting a last minute effort to catapult into 2nd with a 1.37.447. At events end, 2O4F posted to all but 1 spot in Hardcore (first page) and absolutely dominated the overall boards. Great job all entries and great job to Lucky for the tune to beat last week.

Now the current challenge, and a challenge it is with VIR west in the Formula 90s division. These are some fast cars on a fast track and if you dont keep your wits, you will find a dirty lap or worse yet, a tire barrier which is rattling at full speed (yeah, I’ve done it) Currently Electric came out with #1 on his mind and boom..number 1 is his with a 1.56.431. Electric was after the top spot and TCS and Autostick were the only way to get there, but very impresssive lap none the less. Nicely done Electric. Lucky and Quentin find themselves battling for the top spot in hardcore as they chip away each session. Quentin has the current lead by a narrow 1/10th of a second. This battle will be something to watch as Quentin has to run his best lap before Monday at 7 due to the win last week so………….

There is racing happening in several different platforms right now so if you want to get into something different, check the forums and threads under the titles name to see what is going on and when.

J Dirt4 Banner.jpg

Dirt4 is continuing to run weekly challenges that end on Sundays. Head over to the official Dirt4 thread to see where and what is going on with this title. It may be a little slow right now as most of the main players are either on FM7 or Project cars 2 at this time but there are still some racers keeping the mud slung so post away in the thread and good luck on the stages!

H PC Banner.jpg

Project Cars 2 has had its share of struggles but it seems to be leveling off as the Ginetta series has been killing tires and is into week 2 of action. Currently, Jay Waite leads the points with JuanDerecho1 not far behind in 2nd. Nightstalker is in 3rd and Thane62 is not far behind in 4th. The racing heads to Sugo and Dubaii this week, will we see where the action takes the points leaders!

There is also a time attack series for this title so check the thread on where and by when you need to post your time!

K Assetto Banner.jpg

Assetto Corsa seems to be under a Voodoo spell as racers are trying to organize some track nights so check the official Assetto thread if you would like to join in on the action.

And here we are again, at the end of the report. At this time, the staff would like to thank all the contributors, event organizers, livery creators, replay savers, spread sheet slammers, hot lappers, tuners, and everyone else who gets on the forums and gets involved.

See you on the track or behind your ghost (oh wait, thats my ghost – thanks to Turn10), have fun and good luck racers and lappers!
